Media in any country has an important role to play in the country's success . The media has a great influence on the attitude and behavior of people. And if I'm talking to Pakistan after the Pakistani media's role has been in doubt for a long time . It's a long debate or media are playing a positive role in educating the masses or the destruction of their way of thinking. Our film industry was in the fundamental dilemma and only producing low-quality films with limited audience . Once in a blue moon there is a good movie and obviously that is not enough for the entire industry . Viewers Pakistan have to rely on foreign films that are absolutely much better than Pakistani films . But these films impose their culture and traditions of us . Its rules penetrated the minds of our younger generation like a slow poison . Pakistani Film industry needs to raise its standards and should produce quality films to attract educated people to the cinema and to counter this psychological warfare.

The Pakistani drama industry is one of the most powerful industries in South Asia . Unfortunately , a few years ago , a dark period in our industry began serial drama theater when Indians captured audience and attracted much attention with its glamorous dramas . The situation worsened when Turkish dramas began airing on Pakistani channels .

Our younger generation, especially women of all ages have become so accustomed to these channels rarely miss an episode of drama series . On the other hand the TV channels could not fight the foreign propaganda . Our TV channels should promote our traditions and culture Pakistani Islamic , but unfortunately started following foreign media content .

But only in the interest of some media , do not completely eradicate waive interest and our own drama industry . Pakistani Dramas face the premature end to the Pakistani film industry found . How can we maintain the eradication of our culture over and over again ? ?

Although this problem has effectively highlighted by the media . However, collective efforts are needed to stop cultural invasion . PEMRA should take steps to regularize the flow of foreign content and doubled in the national private television channels . The Government rightly emphasized on self-regulation , but this is nowhere and now even ordinary people recognize that the media must operate within a reasonable framework .

All I have to say is that if necessary, the air content of what should be passed through filters . As is directly affecting our culture, not only our culture, but local industry television production . Nowhere in the world media allows them to be used only for sensationalism and glamor that attends some of our channels . Pakistan is rich in culture and talent. It is not only a need to use in the best possible way to support our industry and keep the optimal level .
